Kiana Underwood is the celebrated owner of Tulipina, an internationally renowned floral design studio that specializes in creating bespoke experiences for luxury weddings and events worldwide.

Her use of unique color combinations and floral varieties draws admirers and floral designers from all over the world to her sold-out workshops in exotic locations including Chile, China, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, and Ukraine.

She splits her time between California and New York, with her husband, Nathan, and their three children.

DAY 1

MAY 14TH.

On day one of Welcoming Spring with Tulipina, Kiana will be taking the class to a local upstate New York flower farm to pick and cut fresh flowers for the following days of class. There are several local flowers farms in the area, and Kiana will choose the farm with the best availability to ensure that the most beautiful local blooms are available. Lunch and transportation will be provided.

On the second day, class really begins! In the morning session, Kiana will demonstrate her signature garden style centerpiece using a pin frog (kenzan), and the attendees will create their own lush designs. Following lunch, Kiana will demonstrate a large urn arrangement, and then students will break up into teams of two to design their own larger urn arrangement.

INSTALLATION

On the third and final day of class, Kiana will demonstrate her method of creating a gorgeous hand-tied bridal bouquet, after which attendees will create their own bridal masterpieces.

Following lunch, the entire class will participate in a group floral installation, the type of which will be determined based upon weather and floral availability.

Lunch will be provided on all three days of class. Premium florals and all supplies are included.
